Set up
- One person starts a party and shares the invite code or link.
- Everyone joins with a display name. No account needed.
- Join with a name — you're assigned a team automatically. The host starts when both teams are staffed.
On your turn
When you are the actor, you reveal your clue privately on your own screen and act it out with no words or sounds. Your teammates guess out loud while the timer counts down. The server picks the clue and runs the timer, so nobody has to referee.
- Correct: your team got it. Mark it and score a point.
- Pass: skip a clue that is stumping the room. Passes are limited.
- The answer is revealed to everyone once the attempt is locked, then the next actor takes over.
Sharing a camera
If several people sit in one room around one camera, mark that device as a shared camera. The clue is never shown there. Pair a phone as your private clue controller instead.
Fair play
Party scoring is trust-based: the actor reports Correct or Pass. ClueAcross does not claim to stop cheating, and it does not use AI to judge guesses. It is a party game; keep it fun.
